About
Nick Nilsson
That's
me! So you know more about where I'm coming from on this site,
I wanted to give a little background about myself. I've got
the knowledge and experience to back up EVERYTHING I'm saying
on this site.
I've been weight training for 17 years, been a personal trainer
for 10 years, a professional fitness writer for 6 years (published
in Men's Fitness, Reps Magazine, Muscle & Fitness and on
hundreds of websites) and I've got a degree in Physical Education,
covering advanced biomechanics, physiology and kinesiology.
I've
published 6 weight training books:
"The
Best Abdominal Exercises You've Never Heard Of"
"The
Best Exercises You've Never Heard Of"
"Metabolic
Surge - Rapid Fat Loss"
"Gluteus
to the Maximus - Build a Bigger Butt NOW!"
"Specialization
Training"
"Hybrid
Training"
As
a trainer, I've worked with everyone from complete beginners
to professional athletes and even collegiate strength coaches.
My favorite people to work with have always been the ones who
get totally fired up when I show them things they've NEVER seen
before. THAT is what I really enjoy and THAT is why I put together
this site.
You see, for all my 17 years in the gym, I've been training
with a purpose...
That
purpose has been to come up with new and more effective training
ideas every single time I was in the gym. And you know
what? In 17 years, I've come up with something in almost
every single workout I've done.
It's
what keeps me training hard and having fun every time I set
foot in the gym!
These
are two pictures of me below...I'm actually a natural ectomorph
(which means skinny!), so you can imagine the kind of training
(and eating!) it took to get this point. When I started weight
training, I was a cross-country runner and weighed all of 140
lbs soaking wet. No exagerration. I've had to train HARD to
get to this point. And you know what? You can learn the MOST
from someone who's had to fight for every once of muscle they've
put on.
And
now I want to teach you ALL the training secrets that I use
every day to build muscle, burn fat and develop brute strength.
Below
is a sample of a few of my best lifts (at a bodyweight of around
200 pounds or so). I'm not listing these numbers here to toot
my own horn. I want to show you EXACTLY the kind of progress
you can make with the knowledge I have to share with you.
And I'm 100% natural (no steroids ever)!
